....you date a Hooters waitress, not marry her;

On her Facebook page, Anna Welker posted the following comment after
the loss:

"Proud of my husband and the Pats. By the way, if anyone is bored,
please go to Ray Lewis' [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
page. 6 kids 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay.
What a hall of fame player! A true role model!"

Anna Welker released a
statement on Monday to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] apologizing for the
comment.

I don't really see why she had to apologize. While what she said was slightly inaccurate, Lewis has never been married and he wasn't acquitted of murder, he pled to a lesser charge, it was mostly true.
But seriously, like the guy needs more problems at this point.

I couldn't stand Ray Lewis in 2000. Compared him to OJ. He admitted he was guilty of obstruction.

Over the years he truly rehabilitated himself. He did what most "quick-fame-riches" would not do.

He got rid of his thug-type friends, gave to his community and morphed into a solid citizen.

Correct and he is a perfect example of yes, people can change when and if they put their heart behind who they really would like to be.

That's true, Mrs Welker apparently didn't read the section on his wiki page about his charitable work, which is considerable.
Still, he makes sure you know it, which rubs me the wrong way.

Anyway, the point being;
Does this girl know what her husband does for a living?
If she's saying having kids with multiple women, getting in trouble with the law, or paying off a lawsuit are such horrible things, she's just indicted most of the guys he works with.
I suspect Welker gave her a good STFU honey over the whole thing.

Although some might disagree, you pretty much covered it in your opening statement:
..you date a Hooters waitress, not marry her;
