Vikings played a perfect game
No turnovers.....Ponder played a decent game and of course AP. Hard to believe they were 3-13 last year.

In that sense they did. But it really was not mistake free. They committed some idiotic penalties as well including the hit on Rodgers and the out of bonds taunting by Loadholt. It's just that we did not take advantage of the generosity.
They also were lucky today. When Burnett's blitz tipped Ponder's pass up in the air with 3 Packers to get it, we tip it again and their receiver gets a phantom catch. Because of ARod's uncertainty we had no timeouts left and could not challenge an obvious incompletion.

phantom catch.
Yes..I think that would have been overturned bringing on a fourth down punt. I was thinking interception when it was in the air. Rodgers fumble was a big game changer given that the Vikings took advantage of it.

As stated either last season or the season before..........there is NO WAY a team is going to win anything with a player name LOADHOLT on the roster. No Way.........No How.........No Nuttin', No "Honey Bears Ooh Ah" coming from the Monsters of the Midway town either. Monsters of the Midway ......a double LOL . Make that a TRIPLE Ringo. When it is not your year you don't take advantage of those plays. Good case in point 2 weeks ago when the Bears did not capitalize on Cobb's foolish lateral pass fumble. Or when they have Cutler forgetting about Marshall and throwing 3 times downfield to a rookie and we get 3 offensive holding penalties.
Yet Shields got beat on a long one from a virtually unknown receiver yesterday.

"Perfect game?"
Please. Our O came out flat and rusty looking without Cobb...and yet STILL cut through them on their home turf like a razor blade to a soft bunnies' belly.

See? JnC has a much healthier reaction to a bitter loss.
