South Endzone Progress Empty South Endzone Progress

As we await the completion of the Lambeau Field expansion and view the massive erection of the southendzone (don't get too excited HD!!), reflect on the past season by launching your web browser to Lambeau Construction Cam and hit the time lapse key. Also take a look at the recent previous days renditions whereby the snow stayed put up there in the higher elevation SouthEndzone region while the Packers destroyed the Titans. In real life next season the concrete will be heated thereby obviating the proclivity of show shovels and conveyor belts up there prior to kickoff. The snow and ice and slush will just melt and run off somewhere below due to gravity and the reverse heat of fusion. Not sure how the Packers plan to remove the snow from the non-heated $82 and $89 seats though. I see an opportunity for someone to invent a Packers game heated seat cushion to keep the backside toasted throughout the January playoffs.

Another view can be seen by web browsing Lambeau Cam, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

This will make for a louder stadium during games. Not only 7,000 more fans but, enclosing the open end will keep the noise in. Just look how the noise in Seattle affected the 49'ers offense last night.

Remember how they used to pump in artificial noise in the Metrodome ? Now NFL says that's a no no.
