No Gronk, No Edelman
No problem.
Great win over Houston. Thankfully, no injuries.
Need help to get that No. 1 seed. I guess I'm now a Colts fan coming down the stretch.

I guess Talib and Denard suffered injuries. Talib's did not look serious to me. Can't tell with Denard, a hamstring can take awhile to heal.

Horrible, horrible game plan by a guy, Phillips, I thought was a pretty good DC.
Go zone against Brady? OK, no Gronk, no Edelman, only one WR Brady's shown any confidence in this year, maybe you think it might work, but I knew it wasn't going to after the first quarter. Didn't you?
Wade apparently didn't. Terrible.
Pisses me off too because now the Texans might have something to play for in week 17. I was thinking that might be a nice ones against twos win for the Colts.
Freakin' Texans.

I think the Texans were going "all in" on their pass rush, and trying to rattle Brady, while their safeties roamed around whereever they wanted. You must hit Brady, because as we all know, "Brady gets very uncomfortable when you hit him". At least thats what we keep hearing every week from the "experts". Which leads me to the question that nobody ever seems to ask or answer. And that is: Since we keep hearing that Brady doesn't like to get hit, I'm just wondering, which quarterbacks DO like to get hit?

None of them like to, some of them deal with it better than others. You can knock Rothlisbergers dick off on one play and he seems to have forgotten it happened by the time he gets back to the huddle. With Brady, and a lot of other guys, if you put a couple of hits on them it seems like they're looking for it from then on.

Here's the opinion of a football blogger from Beijing;
Tom Brady ducks out on a phantom foe
Tom Brady can be having a different typically fantastic season when his
SIXTEEN touchdown subsides, three interceptions along with five is
victorious in 8 games would attest. While it is generally recently been
business when usual with the two-time NFL MVP, there has been occasions
when he has not looked themself while giving up back plus surveying the
particular field. He will inexplicably duck your pass rusher exactly who
isn't presently there, and looks deserted by his matchless and uncanny
pants pocket presence. “I just make an effort to react that will what's
taking and move to the open spot, ” Brady explained yesterday.
“Sometimes it is not the wide open spot, and you also make slips ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]).
But subsequently it's something where you possibly can buy a bit more
time for your offensive line back generally there, and moving up and
transferring the pocket is important for your quarterback to try and do.
We develop drills etc. It's a little matter to do it with the right
occasion. ” Some have wondered whether progressing age is causing the
actual 35-year-old Brady for you to flinch in nonexistent strain. More
likely, it provides had related to learning that will trust her
offensive brand, which skilled an offseason overhaul and may be banged
up over the season. Nate Solder had been inserted on left tackle rather
than the retired Matt Light, and Ryan Wendell walked in on center
following Dan Koppen appeared to be released. Guards Logan Mankins along
with Dan Connolly have got missed a number of games among them, and
suitable tackle Sebastian Vollmer was utilized in a restricted role
within the first a couple games seeing that he retrieved from offseason
back again surgery. But the system is very much coming together, which
both pleases as well as doesn't surprise the gamer they've pledged to
shield. “They're very well coached, they usually work really hard, ”
Brady explained. “That overall group, it's similar to their very own
little subculture within the team they have, the things they do to gird
yourself, and these are coached very hard, and Dante Scarnecchia is just
about the best coaches I've ever been around.

I have seen that once or twice. Its only because he's thinking too fast and giving the pass rushers credit for more speed than they actually have.

I knew it. You don't even read what I post.
Anyway. I'm sure that's what it is. He's thinking too fast.
Not that he'd been slammed a few times that afternoon and didn't care for it.
That would imply he's human.

I guess my sarcasm was not obvious enough. I was trying to point out in my own humorous way that thinking too fast is a "flaw", and therefore he's flawed. Obviously anticipating and reacting to a hit that is not there is not perfect execution, and can be the difference between a completion and an incompletion.

Yea, I didn't get the sarcasm.
If getting hit is in a QBs head he could decide early on that a play is going nowhere and it might go through his head , in a milisecond, "I can throw the ball away now and go back to the huddle, or I can wait 8/10ths of a second, throw the ball away, and get wacked"
That's what they mean by not liking to get hit and sometimes it looks like that's what's going on with Brady.
Not that standing in there to the bitter end on the chance that something might open up is always best.
20 years of Brett Favre taught us that.
