Desperately needed
McCarthy needs to step up and show some true leadership. Guts. Balls. The whole nine yards.

Leadership is all about strength... Those followers buying into the belief that he/she who leads them has the omnipotent strength to lead them to safe harbor no matter the fiery of the seas... That, above all, requires trust...and trust is all about truth. Often--the greatest strength of all is demonstrated by a leader who can muster up enough of it to stand before his/her followers in accepting the rightful blame onto him/herself. That thereby leads those others in the room to also examine and feel more comfortable accepting to what degree they also hold culpability for a collective substandard outcome...and what they can each do individually to resolve it...but as importantly--it infuses a healthy dose of trust (in themselves and their leader) right at the time doubt is most eager to emerge.
Denial and blame go hand-in-hand. If TJ Lang is any indication of something more pervasive growing throughout that lockerroom--the Shrekker better bare his fat ass up in front of those men before he starts ripping anyone else's up--or the whole fucking barge could be headed to the bottom of the sea...
