What a season...and the game last night was AWESOME!
I thought 9-7 or at best, 10-6 before the season began but had little hope of beating the Packers in the North.
Put a crown on Zimmer.  He was an awesome hire as the "D" is light years improved.  Teddy coming along just fine as a 23 year old.
"O" line needs some help but Zimmer has done wonders with this team.
We have a lot of pieces in place for a long run, maybe not this year but the future looks great.
I may well be too optimistic but this team can take the Seahawks.  Who the hell knows but the Vikes will be a contender in the years to come.
SO, are there ANY Viking fans here besides j82053?

I don't think u are being to optimistic. Vikings have many pieces in place to only get better. All anyone can say about Zim is he's done a hell of a job.Keep posting I'll check back every so often. SKOL!! GO VIKINGS

I'm an eternal optimistic here and trying to be objective.  
Have not seen the line but suspect Seattle will be favored by 6.5+?
Whatever, we have laid some serious eggs this year..the 49ers and the first Packer game and Seahawks come to mind as real bummers.
What encourages me is the last 4 games....lost to Arizona by 3 (and they are a helluva team), then beating the Bears, Giants and Packers to get where we are.  Big time improvements and we were missing some pieces on the defense in those games.  Appears Joseph and others will be ready for Seattle and I think we have a great chance.
The Vikes could surprise all!

What a bummer that game was.
Makes me think the Vikes are snake bit.
The missed FG in the Atlanta play off game in '99 (as I recall, the only FG Anderson missed all year), the Favre interception versus the Saints and the "chip shot" today to win the game.  Tough to accept for sure.
On a more positive note, our defense is fine + young=great future.  Offensive line needs some replacements as Teddy has been pressured big time.  He may still be raw but he has shown real signs of being a quality QB.  Better protection would give him more shots downfield.  At least, that is my thought.
All in all a great year.
Bring on next season.
