I sure ain't
Anyone old enough to remember the Boston Patriots original logo?
Been a fan my entire life and I hadn't seen this until today.

Never ever saw that logo. I would go out on a limb and say that the chances of it making a comeback are pretty slim.
What field does it look like in that picture? From that building in the background it might be Harvard Stadium.
Look at the guy in front with the towel on his head. He's looking at his hands. He probably a receiver and thinking he needs more illegal stickum for his hands. Damn Patriot cheaters. Even back then.
Also, where are all the assistant coaches? And how come it looks like there are no brothers on the team?

It only lasted one year, 1960.
When the logo was changed in '61 to the hiking Patriot, they put the Paul Revere hat on him.

An old guy I know, a very old guy, says he saw them play an intersquad scrimmage in 1960 at Haverhill Stadium.
He says that's it.

Wow. Good stuff.
Hey, is there something wrong with this forum website? Pictures will not post, and the fonts don't appear as they are supposed to. I'm wondering if its my computer, or there is some setting I messed up, or is it the website?
Never mind. It was me. I think I just fixed it.

Look at the stands. If he's right and this is a scrimmage in august, people were a lot more excited about their new team than I ever thought they were.
