Less than a month after the most difficult afternoon of his playing career, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] tight end [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has been released.
Bostick will be remembered, in recent [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] history, anyway, as the player who botched the onside kick against the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], a play that eventually allowed Seattle to take the lead late in the NFC Championship game.
Bostick has maintained his innocence, and unfortunately didn't [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. That was on top of a public dressing down from former special teams coach Shawn Slocum.
We all know that Bostick was supposed to be clearing a space for [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to find the ball, and while it's easy to claim that football instincts should
take over, it's impossible to lay the entire situation on him, especially when his own head coach's play calling steered the team into the mud on offense.
The only hope now is that Bostick gets another chance. The 25-year-old doesn't deserve to be remembered for one mistake.
Well, it was not rocket science. And NO, he is not the scapegoat. He just showed no promise. When we desperately needed someone to fill the shoes of Jermichael Finley he totally blew it. If he had done the job he would not even be on special teams. They put him in games when the outcome was a foregone conclusion and he could not even catch a soft throw from Matt Flynn. Too bad he was on the roster for 2014. Good luck in Oakland, BB.

Any predictions about how effective Edgar Bennett will be as offensive coordinator and Tom Clements calling the plays? I see it as a positive. Mike needs to get his Special Teams in order.

Clements will see things more through the eyes of Rodgers. I am not sure about Bennett but he is an intent worker. He did a pretty decent job with Davante Adams, a low round pick.

And now the Vikings sign Bostick???? Next they'll sign Slocumb as Special Teams Coach. They must have this thing for ex-Packers.
