So very sad.  Firefighter Mike Kennedy and Lt. Ed Walsh.  May they RIP.

Just tragic.   Flags were at half staff everywhere today.

Coming from a fire fighting family, words would only cheapen my condolences.

Oh, I don't believe that at all.  There is nothing wrong with passing on condolences, imo.
My Dad was FDNY, along with my Uncle and a few cousins.

If you read that correctly, it means  "there are no words in the language, to justify the tragic loss".  Why would I, who just mentioned my father was FDNY, not pass on condolences???   Why don't you stop your "goody two shoes ways" with your stupid  butting in on almost all 32 boards?  Do you think you make points by being "everything to everyone"?

You are a very grouchy old man!

You were quick to wrongfully criticize me  in a public forum, then admitted you were wrong privately.  Where's your public extraction? Nevermind, it would mean nothing coming from you.  Yes, perhaps I am a grouchy old man, but an honorable one.

LRJets, for whatever its worth, I admire and respect you greatly, I just consider the source whenever comments like that show up. There is nothing grouchy about you and you're spot on 100% of the time.

Thanks Cat, I'm not spot on 100% , football boards are biased and opinionated, I'm guilty of bias, but just not in the case above.

I respect that but I stand by what I said. I can't think of one time I didn't agree with you.

And... just like the rising sun.... you are here to stir the fire. I know you and Sheila have issues. I also know that the ONLY reason you jumped into this discussion is because of just that. You, Her and the other ladies who came here all at the same time are hanging yourselves with each one of these.  If I upset you with this post... TUFF. I told you awhile back I am done with this. I will, without notice turn memberships off. It is my right to do so for any reason- I HAVE reasons. I am just as sure you DO NOT understand why I am saying this. I doubt you or Sheila EVER will. I will accept no PMs from either of you on the matter, no Emails on the matter. My decision will be final. I am truly sorry that it has to be this way. I have tried to stand the middle for far too long. I feel you are both decent ladies in your own right, but for whatever reason, cannot let go of some petty bullshit from the past. I will tolerate no more of it here for any reason. I do not care who said what or why. ANY post I see that I feel is the least bit connected to the animosity between you will be removed permanently along with who wrote it and who it was intended. Other than this... Have fun. Foghorn.
