Ravens rally past Vikings 29-26 on icy field
BALTIMORE (AP) -- At first, it appeared the unrelenting snow would be the main topic of conversation. Then came an incredible flurry of touchdowns - five over the final 125 seconds - that truly made this a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable football game.
After Joe Flacco threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to rookie Marlon Brown with 4 seconds left to give the Baltimore Ravens a 29-26 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, the Ravens couldn't contain their excitement.
" Do you believe in miracles?" cornerback Jimmy Smith shouted as he ran off the field.
" What just happened?" Ravens kicker Justin Tucker exclaimed.
The game featured six different lead changes in the fourth quarter. That is the most fourth-quarter lead changes in a single game in NFL history.
And Jacoby Jones , who took a kickoff back 77 yards for a touchdown during the back-and-forth excitement, said, " You couldn't even get emotional. It was too confusing."
Brown's catch concluded a five-play, 80-yard drive that took only 41 seconds.

THE GAME WASN'T FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, THAT'S FOR SURE. TOO BAD SOMEONE HAD TO LOSE THIS GAME, BUT LUCKILY IT WASN'T US. MINNESOTA PLAYED US TOUGH, BUT AT THE END, FLACCO EARNED HIS MONEY ON THAT GAME WINNING DRIVE.gracieshome wrote:Great, great game. :0)

I thought it was very exciting, one of the best fourth quarters I've ever seen. Of course, it's easy for me to say, considering my team won. lol

Gracie, I have a good feeling about this team. We have 3 tough games coming up, and it reminds me of our playoff run last year. We beat 3 good team to get to the Super Bowl, including the #1 and 2 seeds on the road. Denver lost at home the other night, to a team from California. Cleveland should have beat the Patriots at New England. Both teams can be had. I am sticking with my Super Bowl pick of us, and the Seahawks.

LMAO! The Ravens won't make the playoffs let alone sniff the Superbowl. Too funny!JONL95 wrote:
