Boy, is this board silent or what...
I know, a real bummer of a season but really, where are the real fans of the Vikings?'
The season sucks...gotta live with it, no doubt but I still think we have a lot of pieces to build on and we will certainly have a high draft choice coming up. Maybe not a #1 but damn close to it and I think a QB would be high on the list for needs and the draft seems ripe for QB's this year. Depends on what others may want in front of us. AJ?? Johnny Football?? A sleeper may be Jordan Lynch of N. Il. University....look him up. Reminds me of Tebow but he is lighting up the conference for the last 2 years and I wish I could see the "pros" evaluation of him.
Am a dumbass here as I thought Tebow was GOLDEN and the NFL guru's said NO. Guess they were right and they may have the same view of Lynch. Big boy with legs like nothing I have seen. Think NIU is like #16 right now is the standings.
Lastly, I live in Bear country and while the "W" didn't help in the standings yesterday it was SOO SWEET to watch.

I told you all 3 weeks ago that this season was over. No real major revelation, but I was ahead of the curve when I posted that back then. Nothing else to say...simple as that. Hope the near future is kinder than the reality of the present.

I credit you for hanging in there Gbjerke, but I wrote this a while ago and I'm still in that mode....team ended my 'season' a long time ago....also! Spielmen said 11 months ago that "...this team is definitely headed in the right direction" (LOL) So tell me, are we in a better direction now than we were 11 months ago?

Exactly....

I'll try to get a little excited by draft season...till then (again)

Well,you both said everything that needed to be said. Except for one thing. I do enjoy watching the fudge self- destruct. It's amazing how fast a team goes in the toilet when their QB gets injured. However, at least the fudge have a good QB. Hopefully we get one in April.

You said it j8....If Spielman could ever get his "Money" picks right (ie,,first round)...we may score big in the May draft. Funny how he can find decent middle/late round gems, but can't sniff a top pick diamond. (especially in the QB category). Well, like I said,maybe I'll get excited by draft time. Not much to root for in between,,,,and yes, I am enjoying the Packers eroding season. You know the saying, misery loves company.
