When lineman retire Empty When lineman retire

This is what happens. To some of them anyway.
Jeff Saturday. Six months after the Pro Bowl, 65 lbs lighter.
I guess this explains why the Broncos didn't sign him when Koppen got hurt.

When I saw him about 2 weeks ago, I didn't recognize him.  I saw him again over the week-end, seemed to have lost more weight. 
Good for him!
Mark Schlereth lost and kept off the weight for years.
Many linemen actually blow up beyond their playing wt., if not remain the same.  See Hugh Douglas, Sapp, Damien Woody,etc.

 For sure. I wasn't putting him down for it. It was just weird to see a guy that weighs probably 230 and think "Jeez he's skinny."

He looks good and is probably feeling healthier as well.
