Just saw on ESPN the Vikes have released Hutch, Herrera and Griffin. Frees up 13 million.

Ya think rebuilding is prime on their minds? Hutch is a tough loss and admire the hell out of Griffin for coming back from 2 knees but he was obviously not as effective so understand. Herrera?? Not a big loss in my mind.

Makes me wonder if someone is after our #3 pick.

I hate to see them guys go but theres plenty of OG and OT's out on waiver right now. The thing about the Vikings is they are slow - really slow and have no concept of how to back themselves up in this kind of event. Hutch has been injured the last couple years and was basically worn out, same go's for Herrera. Griffin was an excellent Corner before he was injured. He learned the hard way by walking out on the field as a rookie after the team cut Fred Smoot. He was burned quite a few times and finally figured out what to do out there, then "poof" go's his 1st knee injury. He returned late the next season and "poof" go's his other knee. It takes a minimum of 3 years to climb out of that with many days of therapy. He might be ok by now but theres no doubt the Vikings want to move on here. And, it might be they draft a Corner back in the 1st rd too.
