See ya Percy!
I imagine when you get what you want when your a spoiled little whining bitch you get it. He got what he wanted and he even go's to a better team.
The winner here is more than likely the Seahawks, then again, who knows if he pulls the same shit with them he did with the Vikings. Either way you look at it, the Vikings loose.
So where does the blame game start with? Frazier for putting him on IR or Percy for having a big mouth? The way I see it and the way everybody should see it, is it lies within,...within Percy! He was a loudmouth in Florida and apparently he was a loud mouth in Minnesota. Yelling at your Coach sure as hell don't give anybody a golden star behind their name. Ok so he pulled a Dante Cullpepper - "I want out" move,...well so be it!
The Vikings get a 1st rd pick and a 7th this season and a mid rd pick next season,.....of course it all depends upon his physical. The Seahawks could easily say,..he's still a headcase - if they wanted to! And something like that would definitely lower his value for the Vikings but, ...we all know when he comes to play he comes to play. The thing is, is the baggage he brings along with his luggage. All he has to do is "get selfish and demand the ball" "again",.....gimmie, gimmie, gimmie!!!
Lets see just how far the Seahawks will fall with Percy. I dont expect them to go any lower than the playoffs for awhile,..but eventually I expect to see him start his same old shit.

Re: See ya Percy!
Getting a first rounder is OK....I guess.
I hate the PITA locker room cry babies which Harvin apparently was....but I still am concerned over his departure as he was our go to guy last year. 1/2 season with 62 receptions and 670+ yards..Bring that forth to a full season and 1,000+ yards....for a slot receiver? Pretty damn incredible to me. No doubt Ponder needed him as even with a burner, Ponder may well misfire. Hope camp will improve his long downfield throws. Maybe picking up Jennings?
Waiting to see what the draft brings.

RE: Percy
As talented as Percy is he must have been a real pain in the ass behind the scenes. A 1st,3,and 7 round pick for Percy I'll take that. Mostly because he didn't want to be a Viking anymore. Like his former coach in Florida said it's always something with Percy. He's so talented but he's a bitch.

As you should. Great player and if the Seahawks can rid him of the attitude, he could be a great addition.Toddseahawks wrote:Great move for seattle. I like.
Ya know, the Vikes "gifted" you with TJACK....me thinks we owe you one and Harvin may be it.
Cheers.

THanks GB. Jackson...held seattle for better things to come. I have NEVER been big on 1st rounders. Where the vikes scored is...the 3rd rounder. I believe the 3rd round is the jackpot round. To have two 3rds....is christmas. IMO. Pete is well known for getting players on track. IM not concerned about percy at all. I see him going all out in seattle...and taking them to the SB. Again...jmo. SEattle is that close....this will help. Keep in mind....the hawks have not played sit back and do nothing, the are silently building. THe way every team should do it. Again, i think both teams did very well on this...but seattle is pushing hard to get back. I just want a fucking trophy here....were long over due.

Re: See ya Percy!
Understand your first rounder comment. Gems seem to be found in the latter rounds. Go figure, but remember the quintessential of choices years back. Manning or Leaf. Seems Indy and Chargers(?) were in the hunt? Pretty obvious who won that battle. My old mind is pretty well used up but didn't the hawks pick up that AWESOME LB from Oklahoma named Bosworth in the 1st round? A true bust as was Leaf. A lot of examples could follow.
As to THE TROPHY, I suspect you will grant me my wish....the Vikes get it just before the Hawks. Been a fan since inception and have been thru pure hell with the 4 losses. I'll hit the big 72 in about 3 weeks and so want to see the Vikes take that trophy home before I start pushing up grass.
