Thor....I agree with you and it's amazing that the media has decided not to take notice as the Vikings should be turning a few heads right now and deservedly so. To already have matched their entire win total from last season in just the first four games is pretty damn impressive especially when you consider the wins against Frisco and Detroit back to back. It would seem that this team is ahead of schedule and I hate to look ahead but I have to admit that I might be way off in thinking this team would win only 4 or 5 games this year. With Jake Locker being out for next weeks game there is a good chance the Vikings will be 4 and 1 after next Sunday. I'm not saying that the playoffs are even remotely possible because the real test will be on the road against the Bears and Packers. If they can split with them you never know what might happen. I guess what really matters to me is that the team is young and getting better. This is exactly the recipe I was hoping for after the abysmal 2010 and 2011 seasons which is to blow the whole thing up then draft and build around a competent QB that will be here for the next decade. Christian Ponder has ZERO interceptions along with a ridiculous 72% completion percentage in what basically amounts to his rookie year. All without a big time receiver. Special teams has improved drastically as has the O-line. Not sure why but the secondary played lights out and completely shut down two of the best offenses in Detroit and San Fran in back to back games. I had zero expectations for this team so every win is that much more impressive. Imagine if we can land a corner and a receiver next season. Future's looking bright and as a fan I can't ask for too much more!

BINGO, BINGO AND BINGO, Thor and JJ. Am most impressed with their performance so far. Ponder is virtually a rookie, had no camp last year and was thrown to the wolves after the McNabb fiasco last year. Good for him and he looks like the future for us.

Special teams have gone to new heights and absent the penalties in the Indy game, we would be 4-0. I thought 7-9 or at best 8-8 thinking we would go 0-6 in the division. The packers and bears seem vulnerable right now.

Nope, not the elite quite yet but so far it bodes well for us.

Gotta love it.
