Playing in one of the worst blizzards ever to hit Green Bay, the Packers buried the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21-0 before 19,856 diehard fans at Lambeau Field. Another six inches of snow fell before the final gun sounded. Dickey was red hot throwing for 299 yards. The Packers held Steve Young and the Buccaneers offense to 65 total yards, including 11 net yards passing and 5 first downs. Green Bay rolled up 512 yards of offense. When Dickey wasn't passing, Eddie Lee Ivery and Gerry Ellis were dashing through the snow. Ivery had 109 yards and Ellis finished with 101 yards. The attendance was the lowest ever for a game at Lambeau Field, but also the worst weather ever for a home game.

In another classic.........San Francisco appeared to take the lead when safety Chet Brooks returned a Majkowski pass 94 yards for a touchdown, but defensive end Daniel Stubbs was called for lining up offsides and the score was nullified. Three plays later Majik scored the winning touchdown. "To come in here and to shock somebody like the 49ers, well, it's pretty damn sweet", linebacker Brian Noble said.
